As working women, we try to be accomplished in the workplace and at home. We try to balance so many things so that we can feel successful. But sometimes it's detrimental to our health.
Here's what happened to me...
I was a successful Hairstylist with a closed book. I double booked clients and never sat down to take a break, let alone a lunch. I did whatever it took to squeeze clients in. Even if I had to work extra hours. But then this happened....
I noticed I started to be so tired and crabby every day. I wasn't enjoying my work anymore. I was exhausted outside of the salon. My gut was responding negatively to all this stress. I started having major bladder issues that the doctors didn't understand. My brain was foggy. I didn't want to do anything social anymore because I was so tired. I would hit a brick wall where my body would feel fatigued and I was forced to lay in bed to recuperate.
Have you ever felt any of these things? It was so bad that I decided I had to change. So here's what I did....
I started by taking control of my work schedule. Difficult, but necessary. I made sure to schedule a lunch break by putting my name on my schedule as an appointment and I NEVER cancelled my own appointment. This gave me time to rest and refuel (food is energy).
Stress was a huge part of my gut issues. So I took a hard look at my schedule to see what I could do to remove the unnecessary things. I tried to condense work things so that I could actually REST on my days off. I had hours where I would quit responding to messages and calls from clients (after 7 PM and not on Sundays). I made business hours (no more working until 9 or 10 pm). And I quit double booking ( started offering an add-on service that gave me extra income. It was simple). But I also had read that the higher your vitality, the more stress you could take. THIS WAS A GAME CHANGER.
Here's how I did that.
I didn't have a lot of time to spend chopping vegetables in the kitchen. I ate healthy overall, but I wanted to pump up my nutrition to give me the energy and vitality that I needed. So I started this simple program:
-Nutritional powder with 7-14 exotic fruits and herbs
- Whole food Herbal capsules that fed my 5 systems
- Cleansing tea that had 4x's the amount of antioxidants than traditional green tea
These three simple things took minutes to make and helped my body to nourish, balance, and cleanse. It was like eating from the biggest and best salad bar, without all the work and chewing ;)
I felt strong, active, and energetic. Ready to work hard and be accomplished.
So what do you say? Were you like me? Do you want to get your vitality high? If so, you can try these three items with a 14 day free return (if they don't work for you).
